Page Worthy exists to reclaim, celebrate, and amplify the stories of Black women and youth. Through the art of writing and storytelling, we create safe, transformative spaces—online and in community—to explore, express, and own our narratives as acts of radical healing, creative liberation, and ancestral legacy.

How it began
Pageworthy began as a personal blog; a quiet corner of the internet where I could hold my thoughts, process my healing, and explore the stories that shaped me. Over time, it became clear that it was never just about me. As a Black woman, I’ve carried my own experiences of navigating a world that often seeks to silence, minimize, or distort our voices. I know the power of writing, how it became a refuge for me as a child, a portal to freedom and imagination, and a practice of self-exploration and reclamation as an adult. Pageworthy grew out of this relationship with words, and a deep desire to offer that same sense of possibility to others.
Our purpose
At its heart, Pageworthy is a safe space for Black women and youth to explore their narratives without limitation. It’s a digital sanctuary where stories can be shared, witnessed, and celebrated. In a world—and especially an online landscape—that too often feels hostile or dismissive of our voices, Pageworthy offers an alternative: a place where our words are honored as tools of radical healing, creative liberation, and legacy building. Here, we write to release shame, reclaim our stories, and remind ourselves of the abundance of our imaginations. Through our community journal, writing circles, and literacy programming, Pageworthy nurtures intimacy with the self and connection to the collective.
Our Vision
We envision Pageworthy as a living archive of Black voices, where stories are not only written but witnessed, honored, and preserved. As we grow, our goal is to expand beyond the digital space bringing our work into schools, libraries, and community centers through literacy programs, writing circles, and healing-centered storytelling activations.
Pageworthy strives to become a sanctuary for Black women and youth navigating a world that often silences them offering both an online refuge and in-person gatherings that foster connection, creativity, and collective healing. Our vision is to plant seeds of imagination, voice, and autonomy that bloom into a legacy of stories powerful enough to guide, inspire, and liberate generations to come.
